Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg
Level I for a travel nursing job in Savannah, Georgia. Job
Description & Requirements
Shift: Night (3x12.0)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the
delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care
plan. This role includes supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses
(LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of
admission to develop individualized care plans.
Identify teaching needs and goals related to patient diagnoses.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
accurately and timely.
Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate
discharge planning upon admission.
Communicate patient status changes effectively to ensure continuity
of care.
Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing
personnel.
Ensure safety in accordance with hospital policies, focusing on
patient and employee safety.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience
preferred.
Certifications:
BLS Certification (required prior to first shift).
ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift for CIRH
only).
