Responsibilities:
--- Instruct patients on the use of recommended devices for
orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers
and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene
--- Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental
assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support
staff regarding patient care plans
--- Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such
as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications,
and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated
--- Diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for
common dental problems including cleanings, root canals, surgical
extractions, and restoration
--- Assess the patients' overall dental health and look for
presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients'
teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments
Qualifications:
--- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in Dentistry
--- Unrestricted and current state license in good standing
--- Should be computer proficient
--- Possess strong bedside manner, and great communication
skills
--- Requires CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
--- Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical
procedures
